Raquel Grela completes two theatre poductions
Drawn by the complex and exciting process of creating contemporary versions of theatre classics, Raquel has been recently working on two different theatre productions - Antigone and Conquistadors.
The first one been a collaboration with HimmelTheatre, where she plays the role of Antigone in a grotesque and higly physical adaptation of the tragedy. Last performance been at the Bath Fringe Festival.
Another powerful role is the one she plays in Consquistadors. She gives visibility and voice to Malinche - a Nahua woman who played a key role in the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. This collaboration with Thereby Hangs A Tale Productions will be available in different theatre festivals around England.
